LEBANON, Ore. — A man was arrested in Lebanon following an assault that sent a man to the hospital.
Around 11:45 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, Lebanon Police Department officers responded to a reported assault in the 800 block of South 12th Street in Lebanon.
Upon arrival, officers discovered an unconscious male victim with severe facial injuries.
Lebanon Fire Department medics responded, rendered aid at the scene, and transported the victim to Lebanon Community Hospital for further treatment.
During the investigation, officers identified Troy Steven Williamson, 24, as the suspect.
Williamson was taken into custody by Lebanon officers and charged with Assault in the Second Degree. He was transported and lodged at the Linn County Jail.
"The Lebanon Police Department has had prior contacts with Williamson, but no interactions associated with the listed charge," the department stated.
