1 killed in crash on Interstate 89 in Georgia

GEORGIA, Vt. (WCAX) - Police say one person was killed in a crash on Interstate 89 in Georgia late Sunday night.
It happened just before midnight on the southbound side of the highway.
Troopers found a pickup truck in the median that had rolled over and was on fire.
Georgia firefighters extinguished the flames and found one person dead inside the truck.
The victim was taken to the medical examiner’s office.
The cause of the crash, full vehicle information and the victim’s identity are all still under investigation due to the extent of the damage.
The highway was temporarily shut down between exits 18 and 19 southbound but has since reopened.
