Isakov and Medvedev held talks in Yerevan

Bishkek, Oct. 26, 2017. /Kabar/. Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Isakov held talks in the city of Yerevan (Republic of Armenia) with Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, the Kyrgyz Government's press service reported.

The working meeting of the heads of government of the two states was held in the framework of the regular meeting of the Eurasian intergovernmental council.

Sapar Isakov and Dmitry Medvedev discussed prospects for bilateral relations in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

The Prime Minister of Russia noted the fruitful work of Kyrgyzstan in the framework of the presidency in the EEU. In 2018, the chairmanship in the Eurasian Economic Union moves to the Russian Federation.

Sapar Isakov, in turn, wished successes to the Russian side and stressed that Kyrgyzstan attaches great importance to the further development of relations with Russia on the whole range of issues on the basis of mutually beneficial cooperation.
